Syncing your nudj account with Greenhouse is a great way to make sure that all of the work you've put in to your ATS doesn't have to be duplicated on nudj.

Once synced, all of your live Greenhouse jobs are displayed on nudj, and any applicants or referrals are automatically forwarded to Greenhouse.

How to set up your integration

1 - Log in to Greenhouse

The first step is to log in to your Greenhouse account and head to your API Credential Management page. To get there, you can either follow the link, or go to your Greenhouse settings, then click on Dev Center, and then finally, click on API Credential Management.

2 - Generate a new Harvest API key

Click "Create New API Key"

You'll be presented with the screen below. Select "Harvest" as the type from the dropdown and give it a description that you think will help you remember what it's for - we'll call ours "Nudj Harvest Key". Once you're ready, click "Create".

3 - Set your Harvest API key permissions

Once you've created the Harvest API key, you'll be taken to a page where you can manage the key's permissions. When using your Harvest API key, nudj only needs the ability to read information about your jobs on Greenhouse, and nothing more.

This means that the only permissions that need to be selected are to do with Jobs, Job Openings and Job Posts, and only the permissions marked with "GET" (which means we can read but not alter job information).

The ones that need to be selected are shown below.

Once you've selected these permissions, click "Update" at the bottom of the screen.

As you did to generate the Harvest API key, click "Create New API Key".

You'll be presented with the screen below. Select "Partner" as the type from the dropdown.

Then select "Nudj" from the list for the Client Application. Remember to give it a description that you think will help you remember what it's for - we'll call ours "Nudj Partner Key". Once you're ready, click "Create".

4 - Add your API keys to nudj

Now that you've generated both a Harvest API key and a Partner API key, the next step is to add them in to nudj. Head over to your Greenhouse integration page in nudj.

Firstly, copy and paste your Harvest API key and your Partner API key into the appropriate fields. Greenhouse have a handy "Copy" button you can click to help you copy it across.

5 - Add an authorised user

Once you've pasted in your API keys, the final thing you need is the email address of a user in your Greenhouse account.

You can either add the email you use to log in to Greenhouse, or if your team has a general-use email address set up on Greenhouse, that might be the best one to choose. For example, we'll use "hello@nudj.co".

If you're unsure, you can review your Greenhouse users to find an email address that's suitable.

Once you've got the email address you want to use, add it in and click "Connect"

And that's it! Your nudj account is now synced with Greenhouse and you can start using it in tandem with your ATS.
